More details have surfaced about EA and Steven Spielberg's BOOM BLOX Bash Party! In addition to new pieces, 400 some levels, weapons and mulitplayer challenges EA will be introducing new and easier ways to share your created levels.
Taking a que from the success of Little Big Planet BOOM BLOX Bash will be making it easier to share and rate levels. EA will be introducing a robust online sharing community for user created levels. The previous BOOM BLOX had a great level creator in the original title but to trade maps you needed to have exchanged friend codes and even then you would have to send your level out for download. There was no way to just stumble on a great map. But now you can download and rate new puzzles from EA and other players right from EA's servers. There is even a possibility that EA will get Steven to make a level for download!
There was no word on whether BOOM BLOX Bash Party! will utilize the Wii speak for online multiplayer. All we can do now is keep our fingers crossed, we'll just have to wait for it's release this spring.
